This week we honor the hard working girl behind the scene, Lauren “Nikki” Cameron, as our Glam-Aholic Of The Week. PR queen that works hard for her A-List Clients (WE tvs the Braxtons, Bridezillas, TNT’s Hawthorne, Fonzworth Bentley, Dondria, Jermaine Dupri, etc) is always red carpet ready with her trendy fashion-forward looks. While working behind the scenes or on the scene in the ATL Lauren’s look is always serving!

Arjaunjubri: What does FASHION mean to you? “La mode est l’art et je l’aime! It’s not just clothing. It’s everything from hair, nails, make up, jewelry, attitude, confidence…”

Arjaunjubri: What are some of your favorite trends that are happening right now?  “I am in awe with the BRIGHT COLOR trend right now; its so fun! And NUDE! I will always and forever love NUDE… NUDE lip, NUDE pump, NUDE everything!”

Arjaunjubri: What are your 3 favorite hot spots to hit and find haute pieces? “My great friend Veta Roots, is a fabulous celeb designer and stylist. I love that she can whip up anything for me. Bill Hallman in Little 5 Points in Atlanta has the best party dresses. Necessary Clothing in NYC has great cute inexpensive pieces! I can go here and find HAUTE pieces for the office as well as evening events.”

Arjaunjubri: What trends do you love that mostly describe and inspire your style? “CLASSIC, FEMININE, CHIC  is me all the way. I may spruce up my look with a bold lip from time to time but for the most part I like a classic feminine look. And I love to show my curves… Owww!” 

Arjaunjubri: What are 3 things in your closet that you can NOT live without?  “G Star jeans — they fit like a glove. Michael Kors flip flops. My MAKE-UP bag –> like seriously,  this is my baby!”

Arjaunjubri: And who are your top 3 most fashionable celebs? “Eva Pigford is always FUN! Kourtney Kardashian is always FAB! Victoria Beckham is always Classic!”

Arjaunjubri: Who do you look up to in the fashion industry? “June Ambrose… I wish she was my mom. She just gets it! Simply put. Rachel Roy- I worked for her and her beauty truly shines from within. She’s the nicest person you will ever meet and her style is SICK! Mr.ALT himself… Who doesn’t love Andre Lean Tally? And he def put turbans on the map way before Mrs. June did!”

Arjaunjubri: What tips can you give our Confessions Of A Glam-Aholic readers on how to achieve stylish looks? “Be confident in your approach. Where what you want but OWN IT! I see many chics attempting to wear whats in, but they don’t own it! Dont be afraid to spend MORE money on staples pieces… Cheap isn’t always best! Remember a nude lip, bronze blush and black liner (only on top lid) will make you look fabulous any day of the week no matter what you’re wearing.”

I received a few questions about the outfit I rocked at the Glam-Aholic Shopping Experience, and you guys know I can’t hold water when it comes to my looks. I purchased my top & pants from Forever 21. It always trips me out when people say they can never find any great pieces in there! I almost ran to the rack when I saw these slacks. The first thing that came to mind was this was a perfect piece to color block with. I decided to go with color blocking because I’m currently obsessed with this trend, I can’t escape it! I will put my last dollar on the fact that you will see me in these pants again..

The jumpsuit is the Summer’s most versatile trend, can either be worn dressed up with platform pumps, bold jewelry, or for a more relaxed looked with stacked bangles and flat sandals. The fit is very comfortable and flattering for all body types. Many fashion-forward celebrities have been spotted out rockin’ their jumpsuits in a variation of styles. Beyonce took a laid back approach to the trend, while Kim K dazzled us with her sexy belted jumper and June Ambrose’s leopard jumper was “haute pepper approved”, paired with her signature turban…

Even we have been spotted out in our jumpsuits!

I wore my Torrid brown/ cream jumpsuit, Messeca Wedges and Ashley Stewart one dream catcher earrings to the Glam-Aholic Shopping Experience!

Jumpsuits fits into any style type, so I recommend that every Glam-Aholic give this trend a try!

The Glam-Aholic Shopping Experience was a major SUCCESS! Drinks, cupcakes, the photo booth and what everyone came out for…shopping, was a perfect way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon! Getting to meet my readers and customers was a joy that I can’t even begin to put into words. Actually getting to receive face to face feedback gave me life! Before the event was over, I’d already began planning the next one in my mind
