Hi, my name is Lauren and I confess: I am addicted to ‘Warp Speed‘ Cremesheen Lipstick by MAC! Somebody stop me! It’s a very soft dove grey almost white. It can be used as a base coat, a top coat or worn alone. The best part is you can use as a “controller” for other lipsticks to either turn them down or turn them up…
In the three looks I incorporated ‘So Chaud’ matte lipstick, ‘Media’ satin lipstick and ‘Up the Amp’ amplified lipstick.
‘So Chaud’ is a very bright orange, its matte so it’s very potent. I applied ‘Warp Speed’ first to tone the orange down to an easy everyday color.
‘Media’ is a sultry dark cranberry/brown. I used ‘Media‘ to line my lips and then smudged ‘Warp Speed‘ in the center. Excellent for a night out on the town.
‘Up the Amp‘ is a vibrant fuschia/violet. I applied it only to my upper lip to create a fun and flirty look.
‘Warp Speed’ can stand alone or be paired with virtually any color in your collection. It’s neutral, not over powering, and AMAZING! The next time you’re at your local MAC counter give it a whirl!

I love the look of lining the lips with a color of you choice then adding a lighter color inside the lips. Makes for a nice gradient effect. Great post, as usual!
Okay, So I stopped in that God-forsaken Fairlane Mall today with 1 cosmetic wish a tube of this Warp Speed for the weekend. Of course no one knew what I was talking about & when I had to pull up the blog & post this was the only time that the ladies remembered it, This was when they told me they were SOLD OUT… I got online & copped it.
