Same Girl…Different Hair: Flat Iron Tutorial

I’d received a lot of request on how I curl my hair with flat irons and I finally got around to doing it! Y’all know how camera shy I am so it’s always like pulling teeth for me to get in front of it lol! I’m always so excited to share any and everything about my hair, so I’ll try to keep the party going with more videos.

I finally took my last installation out after wearing it for 2 months and dove right into the next one. The top left photo is what my hair looked like when I removed my last sew-in. I know a few of you may remember when I shaved my hair back in February, well the top right picture shows how much it has grown back. The last time I shaved it down was in April, so it seems to be growing very fast. It’s even long enough to get braided, shown in the lower right photo. And I am apart of #TeamNatural, so the lower left picture is what my hair looks like after it has been washed.

And here are the end results! Malika cut and curled it perfectly! I’ve worn this hair before and as I stated in the video, it was a different wave. I really do like this brand of hair and it seems like the longer I wear it, the better the hair looks! And the skirt in the photo is from Target about 4 or 5 years ago. I can barely fit it, but I love it so much I still squeeze into it LOL!

  1. I’m #TeamNatural also and have always wanted a weave. How do you dry your hair to prevent mildew? Also, do you always have to leave some of your real hair out? I worry about heat damage.
