Our favorite down-to-earth girl Keyshia Cole has teamed up with Steve Madden to release a shoe collection. The line will showcase her style, taste and most importantly they will be affordable! Keyshia says:
“I’ve been talking about this Steve Madden deal for about four years now so the reason why I wanted to do a deal with Steve Madden is because, when I didn’t have any money and before I got my deal, I use to buy Steve Madden shoes. So I just want to make sure that I do really cute shoes that my demographic can afford.”
I so love Keyshia for this! I can relate to her reasoning for wanting to create a budget-friendly collection. I am one in the bunch that can not afford Christian Louboutin, YSL, Fendi and etc. When I want to purchase a great shoe, there are two brands that I turn to when I want to feel like I’m buying a “luxury” shoe; Jeffery Campbell and Steve Madden. So, I am super excited about the release of these!

I’m very excited and happy for her. Steve Madden has been a close second for me as I absolutely adore ALDO. Pretty sure she’ll bring that “round the way girl” inspiration to the designs. We may NOT be rats but we still have love for the hood.
