Fashion is something that you walk into a store and purchase. Style is someone who can turn a $5 dress into a master piece. It’s about confidence…knowing who you are and what works for you.
What are some of your favorite trends that are happening right now? Statement pieces- necklaces, stacked rings or earrings. A great printed suit & menswear with a sexy heel.
Have your ever committed a fashion crime? Do tell the details! hahaha YES! In my early 20s I thought everything had to be tight and overly exposed in order to be sexy. BIG NO NO! A rule of mine is if I’m exposed at the top…I’m covered at the bottom and vice versa.
What are your 3 favorite hot spots to hit and find great pieces? If I’m in a different city I check out the thrift stores & Goodwills. I don’t believe in spending a lot of money on trending pieces, so Asos, FrontRowShop (not to be confused with Front Row) are my favorites. Btw I start in the sale section 🙂
What are 3 things that every Glam-Aholic should have in her closet? The proper undergarments, a black pump with toe cleavage & a great coat (wool, textures or trench).
If you could trade closets with any celeb, who would it be? I would trade closets with Christine Centenera (Editor Of Vogue Australia). I’ve been obsessed with her for years. She definitely flirts with shapes, layers & detail. For those that don’t know who she is, she’s responsible for most of Kim K’s most recent looks.
What tips can you give our Confessions Of A Glam-Aholic readers on how to achieve stylish looks? First thing’s first..dress for your body. Know what works for you. Find your best feature and showcase it as often as possible!! Don’t go broke trying to look rich. Invest in pieces that can be worn 1,000,000×1,000,000 different ways.
