This post is slightly embarrassing, but it’s all the way real! Let’s rewind to many moons ago when I noticed two small “spots” on my left and right big toe. I tried to ignore it for as long as I could, hoping (silently praying) that it would go away. In the back of my mind I was hoping that it wasn’t what I thought that it was. I grew tired of looking at these unattractive “spots” on my toenails and finally decided to book a doctor’s appointment to get to the bottom of this. He rolled out the bad news. It was…a toenail fungus! G R O S S!
He stated that it more than likely came from a unsanitized pedicure tub during a visit to a salon. Be careful ladies! He informed me that the fungus isn’t immediately harmful, but over time it can cause some serious damage. For right now it’s just more of a cosmetic issue that can easily be resolved through medication. I’m currently popping a pill daily to rid my toenails of this ugliness. *sigh*
I know you’re thinking what does this have to do with Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serum? lol! Here’s the connection. I now have a fear of going to get a professional pedicure and my feet were beginning to show proof of that. My skin became very dry and cracked due to the dead skin and cold winter weather. So embarrassing. I tried to fight this battle with my usual lotion, but it didn’t help at all. Immediately within the first week of using this product I noticed a huge difference in my skin!

This Vaseline healing serum is for your entire body, not just your feet. That just happened to be my problem/test area that I needed to focus on to see if this product was what my dry skin was in need of. My only dislike about this product is the fragrance. As stated in previous posts, my nose is extremely sensitive to smell and the scents within these bottles are strong. They smell great, but they are “smell you from across the room” type of strong lol! That may not be an issue for everyone, but it was certainly something that I had to get use to.
Vaseline products have always been a staple in my household, (my boyfriend has even fallen in love with this particular product). If you’re looking to heal the irritation of dry skin, I would definitely suggest giving this healing serum a try!
