This was something like a dream. I mean really! You guys know I love me some Kim Kimble. I’d previously posted about my love for her Kimble Hair Care System products, but never in a million years did I think I would get to meet and interview her! *faints* I am a lover of all women who are great at what they do and Ms. Kimble just takes the cake for me when it comes to being a master of hair styling. Thanks to the lovely Arian, I got a chance to talk with Kim on the set of the remake of the classic film Sparkle…
*whew* honey I was a nervous wreck! You guys know I hate being in front of a camera LOL! But I wouldn’t trade that experience in for anything in the world. It was a absolutely honor to have met and interviewed Kim Kimble. I took the advice she suggested for aspiring hair stylist and applied it to my own work ethic. I pull inspiration from everywhere, and that 10 minute interview with her made an impact on my journey. And you all know I had to give her a ‘Same Girl…Different Hair’ t-shirt!
But I’m totally excited about the remake of Sparkle! Who didn’t love this film?! The fact that it’s actually being shot in Detroit, makes me excited for my city also! I remember being little and my mommy talking about her love for it. I watched it and it instantly became one of my favorites. Who could forget…”giving him something he can fee-eel” lol! I can’t wait to see what looks Kim and the rest of the glam squad has in store for us once the movie hits theaters in 2012!

I had a wonderful time working on the set of Sparkle with Ms.Kim Kimble her mom and a host of others. She would always come on set styling and she would do it without trying. I even designed a hat for her mom they were very cool people on set ill nev forget them.
