Does anyone else keep a wish list all year long? *smiles*
Well, if you don’t, I’m here to tell you that you should! Keeping a wish list on your phone, computer or anywhere works just like having a vision board. I screenshot, save, bookmark and even pin to my Pinterest, things that I have to have. For the past year, I’ve had these Balmain Lace Embroidered Booties ($1,885) plastered on everything I look at or touch on a daily. I had no idea how I would ever own a pair, I just had hope that one day they would land in my closet. For my 26th birthday, I asked my boyfriend for these booties. I really didn’t think I would get them but, I thought it would be fun to send him a scavenger hunt, for once. I texted, tweeted and emailed him the picture of these booties every day so he wouldn’t forget LOL! I even gave him a list of shoe sites to check!
My birthday came and went, I didn’t even think about my sought after booties. Until, one day at work I received a mysterious phone call telling me a special package would be coming. I immediately thought it was telemarketer and hung up LOL! Then, to my surprise walked in …my special delivery!
A big black SHOE box! My eyes grew big as I tossed back the shoe paper onto the floor, it was my indeed my booties! I was so happy, I could’ve died! Not the exact pair but the best lookalike I’ve ever seen! Although, my boyfriend didn’t want to give up the deets on the shoes, I eventually pulled it out of him.
And, now I can share my secret!
