Four years ago, my goal was to have healthy hair. I’ve since then accomplished that. Length was never something that I really focused on, because dare I say it…long hair is kinda boring to me. I’m not really into wearing layers because I love the fullness of my hair, so that leaves me rocking bone straight hair and curls. I’m not complaining at all! But, c’mon I’m THEE Same Girl…Different Hair and sometimes I want to switch it up when I’m wearing my natural hair.
After months of begging my stylist Alisha Taylor to cut my hair, this past weekend I came up with the perfect idea…a faux bob! Here’s the perfect hairspiration pic that I found on Instagram that Alisha and I used to guide us through this style…
I’ve seen celebs wear this look during red carpet moments, but I never thought to try it out myself until now and I absolutely loved it..
A flat iron, hairspray and a gang of hairpins later, we made it happen! Alisha did this to perfection so well that I actually tricked a few people into actually believing that I cut my hair lol I will certainly be giving this look a try again, especially during the Summer months in attempt to beat the heat while rocking my natural hair.
