Fall is almost here and it is time to go “mad for plaid” once again! Not that you can’t wear this this pattern all year ’round, but it’s time to pull out the heavy fabrics laced with plaid. The wool, the thick knits and flannels. The materials that set our Fall & Winter wardrobes ablaze! Wearing plaid is definitely not a new trend, but it’s trending in stores right now…which means that you should grab a few pieces and style out!
I found my new plaid piece in a sea of basic plaid button-up shirts. Actually, it’s a midi dress, but in my eyes I saw an exaggerated plaid top that could be worn as a layering piece. Let me add, a layering piece that could be worn for both day and night. We all know that Fall is strictly about LAYERS!
I paired my flannel top with high-waisted Kardashian Kollection slacks, mixing casual with class. Bringing the look down for a more carefree look, I tossed on a pair of distressed H&M jeans and mid-calf Steve Madden boots. It’s a great piece for versatility!
