Fashion vs. Style, what’s the difference between the two? Do you feel that people get these meanings confused? In my opinion Fashion is what the media feeds you. They make you believe what they are showing you is what you need to purchase in order to look good. Style is what comes from within. What’s so dope about style is that everyone’s personal style constantly evolves but still remains unique. Style isn’t given it’s bred from yourself. I do think people get these two things confused all the time. People feel they need to be up with the latest to be fly. I feel like our generation doesn’t know the meaning of timeless pieces.
What are some of your favorite trends that are happening right now? Definitely Monotone! I feel like anyone can pull this trend off! No matter your size, height, race or gender. It looks good on every human walking! I am also in love with suits and separates. A suit is not solely for the office. You can put on an amazing pair of pumps or open toes sandals and replace your button down shirt for an extreme v-neck distressed tee, replace your tote bag with an oversized clutch and you are ready for date night!
Have your ever committed a fashion crime? Do tell the details! TUH!!! Which one have I not committed? I think my most offensive crime was wearing ill-fitting clothes! Jeans that were too small for me or a tee shirt that I had to constantly pull down so you wouldn’t see a crack. Constantly telling myself I was two sizes smaller than what I was. Once I came to expect my shape and size I started wearing my clothes and not letting them wear me.
What are your 3 favorite hot spots to hit and find great pieces? Top hitter on my list is DEFINITELY ASOS! I love them. Point blank period. I love their clothes and their prices. Secondly, H&M, I don’t think I have ever left there empty handed. I can find clothes for my 9 to 5 and nightlife in one place. Plus their collaborations with designers and celebrities are always on point. Thirdly, would be Target. Just like H&M their collaborations with designers also give me a chance to purchase something from a designer I have lusted after and spend a fraction of the price plus I love their tee shirts. I am big fan of v-neck tee and I get all of mine from them.
What are 3 things that every Glam-Aholic should have in her closet? Every Glam-Aholic should have: 1) a suit! One that can transition from day to night. 2) An amazing pair of jeans. Who cares if you wear the same one a million times (just as long as they are clean). 3) A pair of pumps. In my opinion they should be patent leather. They go with almost anything and are appropriate for mostly any occasion.
If you could trade closets with any celeb, who would it be? With out a doubt in my mind I am going to say Kim Kardashian. Kim has amazing pieces that she is not afraid to repeat. Her closet is enviable!

The first tip I would give is to make sure you are comfortable in what you wear because other people can tell if you aren’t secure in what you have on. Second tip is you don’t have to shop expensive to achieve a stylish look. Definitely research looks for less, search eBay and thrift stores you can find amazing pieces from all the above for a fraction of the price! Last but most important good undergarments. It is essential to making your look flawless.
