Confessions Of A Plus Size Glam-Aholic

Lately, I’ve been receiving a lot of emails, Twitter & Facebook messages about where I shop…I shop everywhere!! I’m a plus size Glam-Aholic but I don’t let my size hinder me from choosing places to shop. I frequent all stores regardless of their size chart. When you’re a big girl and you want to be trendy & stylish, you have to be willing to take chances. There aren’t a lot of stores that carry trendy clothes for us plus size girls to rock. Although more plus size stores are starting to carry stylish clothes, I’m still not satisfied.  I’m a size 16/18 and you can find me looking through the racks of Forever 21, H&M, online @ Nastygal.com and/or whatever store I choose to purchase from! The designer may not have designed it for my size, but I choose to make it work.

My weight goes up and down all the time. But I’m comfortable in my skin and that’s what being a Glam-Aholic is all about. Embracing your curves, thighs that rub, big wide ass and flabby arms, etc! Don’t ever let your so called “flaws” hold you back. Do you! But I do want you all to know that I make it a habit to try on everything before I buy it to make sure that I can pull it off. There is nothing wrong with being a big girl, we are beautiful! You can wear anything, do anything and be anything. I love you all!!
