I remember back in the 80’s and early 90’s, if you had a leather MCM bomber, with the hat to match you were the isshhhhhhh! lol! This was the official “Fly Girl/Fly Dude” staple back in the day. My mother was one of those fly girls who had the asymmetrical haircut, big bamboo earrings and never left home without her MCM Boston bag. MCM, Mode Creation Munich, The European Luxury brand made it’s officially re-launched fall 2010 with the re-releasing of it’s popular Boston bag. Within a year of it’s re-launched, the MCM luxury bags and jackets have been making it’s appearance on the backs and arms of our favorite celebs. Chris Brown, Big Sean, Diddy, Tyga and King Bey have been spotted rockin’ the brand. It is exclusively sold at Saks Fifth Ave and high end boutiques. Michigan’s own Revive has announced it’s rare MCM collection is now available in limited quantities. If you’re a vintage thrifter like me, you’ll probably get yours out of grandma’s closet or you’ll be searching on Ebay at 2am……(Don’t judge me)
