Ombré hair color is trending like crazy! Our favorite trendsetting celebs have been seen rockin’ the sun-kissed beach look. Ombré hair simply means hair is darker at the roots and gradually gets lighter as it reaches the bottom (So basically its grown-out roots).
A few months back I decided to try out this look with the help of Team Glam-Aholic’s lovely stylist Khabirah (ByKhabirah.com)! What I loved most about my Ombré is that it’s low-budget in cost (no touching up your roots every 4 weeks) and it’s effortless, edgy blonde look.
If you decide to lighting the tips of your hair, you want to make sure to consult with a professional first! Also, I would suggest you invest in some protecting products so you can maintain your bleached-out locks.

I did this to my dreads a couple years back, and the response was amazing, I’ve since dyed them back to black, but I just the other day I was thinking about fading a little red in at the tips since I am wearing them coiled more often (its still too dang hot down here in Texas), and the red would create a cute edgy wave effect.
I luv all the hair posts, as a modern girl with dreads I often try to put my spin on more processed styles, just because its not what people usually expect.
