This weekend I had the pleasure of speaking at a Women’s Empowerment Business & Brunch event along side the two powerhouses Karen Civil and Ming Lee. We laughed, we cried and most of all we inspired a room full of women to chase their dreams! And what’s an event without a cute selfie?! (lol)
As far as my look, I wanted to be very stylish and most importantly comfortable. When dealing with day long events, I always try to dress as comfy as possible seeing how I’ll be standing and walking a lot. I truly dislike focusing on the fact that my feet are hurting more so than focusing on the importance of the event/occasion.
I am so sorry for the selfies, but it was an extremely busy day and I was unable to take any solo professional pics (lol). Anywho, this silk asian flower printed set was uber comfy and everyone loved it! When I received my order in the mail and tried it on, I wasn’t too crazy about the top and pants flowing together looking somewhat like a jumpsuit, so I opted to “crop” my top by tucking it upward with safety pins. I felt that it added a little flair to my look!
